Support agreement between Fountain, Fort Carson balloons to $10 million
The city of Fountain is making an aggressive push to expand its partnership with the military for support and construction services.
On Tuesday, City Council authorized an increase in the budget for Fountain's Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA) with Fort Carson. Started in 2021 with a contract to provide pest control on base, the total funds authorized for agreements increased this week to $10 million for multiple current and proposed services.
